The Balinese & Siamese Cat Club
The AGM of the Balinese & Siamese Cat Club was held on Sunday, 12 November at Hurst Village Halls, Hurst, Berks.
The meeting was concluded quite quickly and successfully, followed by a raffle and refreshments. Everyone enjoyed a friendly and social afternoon.
There were a few changes on the Committee, and they are - Mrs Sue White is now the Hon Treasurer and Membership Secretary as well as the Welfare Co-ordinator. Subscriptions for 2007 are now due and should be sent to Mrs S. White, Blue Haze Cattery, Aldershot Road, Somerley, Ringwood, Hants BH20 3QE.
Mrs Maxine Smith is now the Show Support Secretary, and her address is 44 West Street, Banwell, N. Somerset BS29 6DB.
Mrs Lynn Campbell, 40 Lonsdale Avenue, Weston Super Mare BS23 3SG, will gratefully receive any contributions to the “Mews”, the annual newsletter of the Club. Any articles should be received before the end of March 2007.
Organisation of the second Championship Show at Oak Farm Community School, Caucer Road, Farnborough, Hants, is now well in hand, and everyone is looking forward to 14 July 2007. Applications for schedules should be made to the Show Manager, Mrs S. Smith, Holly Tree Cottage, Horsley Cross, Manningtree, Essex CO11 2NR, and they will be sent out in due course.

The Bengal Cat Club AGM will be held at 1pm on Sunday, 18 February 2007 at St Mary’s Parish Hall, Sunbury on Thames.

Bedford & District Cat Club
At the AGM this year I stepped down as Show Manager of the Bedford & District Cat Show, but took on the Secretary role. The new Show Managers are Mr Alan and Mrs Linda Ward of 12 Fairford Crescent, Downhead Park, Milton Keynes MK15 9AG.
The schedules for the 2007 show on 28 April will be available at the end of January by sending Linda and Alan a stamped addressed envelope, by accessing our website (www.bedfordanddistrictcat club.com) or by collecting one from our Chairman, Chris Wood, at the Purrsonal Touch stall at shows.
