The Animal Care College is delighted to announce that the well known feline behaviourist, Vicky Halls, is to take over as tutor the Intermediate and Advanced Canine Psychology courses run by the College.
Vicky is a qualified Veterinary Nurse and has worked closely with cats since 1988 in rescue centres and veterinary practice. She started seeing behavioural cases whilst managing a veterinary practice and in 1995 was invited by Dr Peter Neville to work on his behalf as an associate of his practice.
In 1998 she became a member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors and now consults mainly in London and the Home Counties dealing with the high demand for her specialist cat behaviour counselling.
Vicky is also keen to educate cat owners to prevent the development of behaviour problems and has been involved in developing products designed to encourage natural behaviour.
Vicky understands the significance of diet in maintaining good health and she works closely with Iams, the pet food company, to help them promote the importance of a healthy mind and body.
Vicky’s first book entitled “CAT CONFIDENTIAL” is now available in all good bookshops. Her second book, “PLAY CAT DETECTIVE” is due for publication in September 2005.
The Animal Care College is the longest established and leading distance learning educational centre in the UK.
