THE office bearers of the Northern Ireland Cat Club were saddened to hear of the passing of Carole. She had lived amongst us for some years, prior to departing to the continent.
Carole blended perfectly into the Cat Fancy in Ulster and was highly regarded by all the clubs here, also in the south of Ireland.
She was a very capable judge and was always willing to officiate at our local shows. Her passing so soon after the death of her husband must have been a terrible ordeal for her daughters.
I first met Carole some 25 years ago when she judged my cats at shows on the mainland. She had a wide knowledge of Longhairs in particular. On behalf of all the Members of our Club, I tender sincere condolences to the members of the family circle on their sad loss.
