Members are reminded that subscriptions became due on 31 January and these should be forwarded to the Membership Secretary, Pamela Davey, 47 Lincoln Road, Forest Gate, London E7 8QN. Subscriptions are £5 single, £7 joint and £1 junior.
In accordance with Club Rules, four Members of the Committee - Mr Vic Williams, Miss Pamela Davey, Mr Tommy Goss and Miss Samantha Wilson - have all completed their term as Committee Members, but are willing to stand again. Michele Kiely has, unfortunately, had to resign, due to relocation. The Committee would like to wish her well and thanks her for her long standing contribution to the Club. This, therefore, leaves a vacancy on the Committee.

Colourpoint Cat Club
The Colourpoint Cat Club AGM will take place on Sunday, 2 April at the Punch Bowl Hotel, Thorne, Doncaster at 2pm.
Paperwork for the AGM will be sent to all Members prior to the meeting, all Members are welcome. There is a hot lunch available prior to the meeting at 12.30pm for approx £6, please let me know if you will be requiring lunch so I can assure it is booked for you.

The British Shorthair Cat Club AGM will be held on Sunday, 2 April 2006, at the Oliver Bird Hall, Solihull, West Midlands, at 12 noon.

The Abyssinian BAC
The Abyssinian BAC extends an invitation to their 2006 Seminar. Theme: “A Celebration of the Abyssinian”. Venue: The Oliver Bird Hall, Solihull. Date: Sunday, 2 July 2006. Cost: £8, which includes lunch. £4 for people bringing cats. (Please indicate your request if you are vegetarian or have a food allergy).
Open to all Judges, stewards, breeders, pet owners and anyone interested in having a closer look at this unique breed and maybe owning one in the future.
The day will include a history of the breed with a display of old and rare photographs. You will have the opportunity to work through the Standard of Points with our seminar judges and view at close hand over 20 examples of the breed in various colours (if anyone has a chocolate or lilac to bring, we’d love to hear from you).
Vetting-in is at 11.45am and lunch is expected to be served at 12.30pm. The Seminar itself is due to run between approx 1.30 and 4pm. Tortie, Tortie & White and Bi-colour BAC
The BAC held its Electoral Meeting on Sunday, 26 February and the following Officers were elected for the forthcoming year: Chairman, Mr Chris Perrin; Vice-Chairman, Mrs Joan Smith; Secretary, Mr Keith Scruton; Treasurer, Mrs Janet Ashman.
The BAC will be holding a Seminar in 2007, the theme of which will be Coat Pattern in Patched, Intermingled, Bi- and Tri-colours. Further details will be announced after the next BAC meeting which will be held on 1 October 2006.

Joint Rex BAC
There will be a Seminar for Cornish Rex, Devon Rex, LaPerm and Selkirk Rex to be held at The Millennium Memorial Hall, Astrop Road, Kings Sutton, Banbury, Oxfordshire OX17 3PG on 7 May 2006, commencing with lunch at 12 noon. There will also be Sphynx on exhibition which will not only enable judges to learn more about the breed but also see the subtle differences between Sphynx and Cornish and Devon Rex.
The afternoon will be most interesting and informative and the BAC looks forward to seeing Full Judges, Candidates on the scheme and all those interested in the above breeds.
