Re. letter by Tina Mason
CONGRATULATIONS to Tina for being awarded two Best of Variety at the same show. I stopped breeding several years ago and doubt if I will take up showing seriously anymore, but my husband and I had a wonderful show success in November 1972.

At the Blue Persian Show, which was held in Chelsea, London, we entered our Blue Persians, and at the end we were the proud breeders of Best Adult/ Exhibit, Kitten and Neuter.

The Best Adult/Exhibit was Ch Foxavon Mandy and the Kitten, Foxavon Sharon (who later became the first female Grand Champion of All Breeds in the British Isles) and Pr Muskoka Jaimie was Best Neuter.

What made this even more special was that Mandy and Sharon were sisters. Collette of Pensford their mum and Ch Gaydene Robin was the sire of all three. My husband was the breeder of Jaimie.

At that time, Gaydene Robin was the first male to sire all Best in Show award winners and I believe that this has never been equalled. I purchased a Salver to be given to the owner who does achieve this, and after all these years it is still here in its box.
