A warm welcome awaits you at the
SCOTIA CAT FANCIERS SHOW
This year the Scotia Cat Fanciers 3rd Championship show will be held on Saturday the 22nd September 2007 at a new venue in the beautiful seaside town of Helensburgh, Argyle and Bute. The Victoria Halls (pictured right), our venue, is a splendid Victorian building a stone’s throw from the town’s main railway station and just a short jaunt from the promenade and all local amenities, there is also a good selection of shops for all you “shopaholics” out there!
The world famous “Hill House”, one of the architect Charles Rennie Mackintosh’s masterpieces is located just a short walk from the halls and is open to the public through the Scottish National Trust and well worth a visit. Loch Lomond is a short drive, a visit to the village of Luss on the banks of the loch (pictured below), where “Take The High Road” was filmed is also an ideal place to go. The town itself has a real ”café society“ feel about it with a multitude of classy eateries and café bars. The views along the front are stunning with mountains rising from the sea; you might even spot a cruise liner or possibly a Royal Navel vessel.
Since the club has not managed, mainly due to lack of a venue, to hold a show since April 2006, we sincerely hope that supporters from our previous shows will come along and support us in Helensburgh and that we will also attract new exhibitors to this stunning place. It is really easy to get to from the Loch Lomond side or coming in from Glasgow.
So go on, why not give us a try? We promise you a great day, best value for money and a distinctly warm welcome!
