Somerset Cat Club
After much discussion by the Committee and with the unanimous backing of the Members at the AGM, it was decided to discontinue the trophies.
There are various reasons for this, the number of trophies actually being claimed did not warrant the amount of work put in by the Trophy Secretary over the year, apart from a very small proportion of the membership, the majority are just not interested in claiming trophies. Storage was also becoming a major problem.
Therefore, although the trophies belong to the Club, we felt it only fair to give those persons who donated trophies the opportunity to claim them back.
The trophies will be available at the Wiltshire & District Cat Club Show on 7 July, 2007, and again at the West Country Show on 12 January, 2008, with the remainder going to our AGM and finally the 2008 show.
