Mavis Donnelly, Hon Secretary

The Oriental Cat Association

The Oriental Cat Association wish to notify those who may need to contact the OCA on matters of welfare relating to Oriental cats, that it is with regret that Lisa Underhill-Price has resigned her position as the OCA Welfare Officer. Lisa has done superb work in the time that she has held the post, and the OCA wish to thank Lisa publicly for her dedication to the cats in her care and in the rigour she has applied to the selection of suitable homes for the cats that have been re-homed whilst in her care.

The Club is very fortunate in being able to appoint Val Walter to take over the role, and to know that Val has learned much from Lisa’s coaching and excellent example over the months to equip her to carry on the work to the same high standard that Lisa exemplified. We are further delighted that Lisa will continue to support Val and advise her in this valuable work.
Val can be contacted on 01424 892618 and emailed at bookends@btopenworld.com

We are organising a coach to the Supreme Show on 17 November, 2007.

We would be happy to pick up passengers from other regions en route, so long as it is on, or near the A1(M). I am willing to discuss any special requirements you may have. If you would like to join us, ring me on 0191 490 0125 after 7pm please, or leave a message on the answering service and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
