Both Ian Benson and Robert Illingworth of Axis Cook Media Limited, the new Publishers of 'OUR CATS Newspaper', 'Our Cats Annual' and the 'Our Cats Website' from August 1st 2008, would like to express their sincere thanks to the GCCF Delegates at the Council Meeting of the April 9th, 2008 for their resounding support in voting for OUR CATS. Please be assured, we will be building on, and returning, this goodwill and support.

By way of reassurance too, there will be continuity with the title, as Editor Nick Mays will be at the helm, bringing with him his wealth of experience as both a journalist and a fancier, whilst the paper itself will be continue to be printed by Mortons.

As most of you are probably aware, we could not set up any Systems, Banking or Credit Card Retail Facilities until we knew the outcome of this GCCF Council Meeting. We are now working tirelessly to get these in position with the absolute minimum of delay to our old and new customers.

It is anticipated that everything will be in place by the beginning of May and you will then be able to apply for Subscriptions by either Telephone, Fax or Post to cover the period starting with our Launch Publication Date of Friday August 8th 2008 for either 6 or 12 Months - we will be maintaining the 2007 rates, as detailed below, and we will not be reviewing these until August 2009. Judges Rates will apply unchanged for 12 months subscriptions, even though the postal rates have increased.

The August 2008/9 subscriptions are:
12 Mths Newspaper Only: UK £90 Overseas £105
12 Mths Newspaper with Annual: UK £95 Overseas £110
12 Mths Newspaper & Online Membership: UK £105
6 Mths Newspaper Only: UK £55 Overseas £58
6 Mths Newspaper with Annual: UK £60 Overseas £58
6 Mths Newspaper & Online Membership: UK £70

You will be able to place Advertisements also by these methods for all
Publications from Friday 8th August 2008.

Unfortunately, you will not be able to apply for Subscriptions or place
Advertisements Online until after the August 1st, 2008.

In the interim period, for Subscriptions, Advertising and Judges/Show Reports, namely up until the last issue produced by Our Dogs Publishing - Friday, July 25th, 2008 - please continue to use the current facilities of OUR CATS telephone numbers and addresses.

We are looking forward to achieving the modernisation of the current newspaper and website and we feel we will have some exciting developments to announce in the near future.
