The AGM of the Cameo, Pewter & Smoke Society will be held on Sunday, 20 April, 2008, at the Memorial Village Hall, Lowfield Lane, Gnosall, ST20 0CT, Staffordshire, (approx six miles from Junction 14 of the M6). The meeting will commence at 2pm.

Exotic Shorthair Cat Society
Our AGM is to be held on Sunday, 13th April, 2008 at the Werrington Community Association Hall, The Village Centre, Church Street, Werrington, Peterborough, Cambs. The meeting will begin at 2.30pm. We have two retiring Co-opted Committee members, willing to stand again and one vacancy. Anyone wishing to stand for Committee should notify me by 15th. March, in writing, with a proposer and seconder. Both must be paid up members of the Society. Any items for the AGM agenda should also be sent to me by 15th. March. We shall be having a raffle in aid of Society funds, any items would be much appreciated.

We have a few remaining calendars for 2008 at half price if anyone is interested.
I am in the process of putting together the 2009 Society calendar. If any member would like to buy a month (£40 per month), I need a 6 inch x 4 inch professional landscape photo (these will be returned) of your Exotic, with the Full pedigree name of cat, breed number, owners name, owners telephone number, breeders name and photographers name. I have a couple of months left, so contact me without delay.
We are hoping to take the Club Stall out to some more shows this year, so if anyone has any books, videos, etc. which we can sell please let us have it or bring it along to the AGM.

The Birman Cat Club
The AGM will take place on Sunday, 27 April 2008, at The Oliver Bird Hall, Church Hill Road, Solihull, West Midlands, B91 3RQ, commencing at 2.30pm.
The draw for the 2009 Calendar will take place at the AGM, together with the presentation of Cups & Trophies. Any items/proposals for inclusion on the AGM Agenda, proposed and seconded by fully paid up Club Members must reach me not later than Saturday, 29 March 2008. It is desirable for the proposer and/or seconder of such agenda items to be present at the AGM to present any proposal to the membership.
The Committee are sorry to announce two resignations during the year owing to work commitments, Mr Malcolm Brace resigned as Vice Chairman and Mrs Jane Sparkes as a Committee Member. Additionally, Mrs Val Kilby has decided to step down from her position as Chairman at the forthcoming AGM, but is willing to restand as a Committee Member. Mrs Angela Clements, Mrs Beverley Hill, Mr Peter Madden and Mr Geoffrey Tarr have completed their terms as Committee Members and are willing to restand.
Nominations for any of the vacancies are invited from fully paid-up Club members. The nominations must be signed by the nominee, proposer and seconder who must also be fully paid up Club Members. Nominees should also provide a brief profile of themselves. All nominations and profiles should be sent to me at Pawprints, Hutton Hill, Constable Burton, Leyburn, North Yorkshire, DL8 5RN, and must reach me not later than Saturday, 29 March 2008.

Yorkshire County Cat Club
The AGM will be held on Sunday, 20 April, commencing at 2pm in the De Lacy Room at The Parkside Hotel, Park Road, Pontefract WF8 4QD, and the Committee look forward to welcoming Members to the afternoon. Earlier this year, all Members were notified by post that we have Committee vacancies this year, along with a request that should you be willing to receive your AGM papers by email you will need to let me know your email address. The minutes of the previous AGM, together with a copy of the balance sheet and accounts will be available for inspection at the AGM. Any Member who wishes to receive copies of these prior to the AGM must send a stamped addressed envelope to the Hon Secretary requesting copies of the same.
The AGM of the CBSCC will be held this year at the Kent’s Hill Community Centre, Frithwood Crescent, Kent’s Hill, Milton Keynes, Bucks on 13 April, 2008.
Any person interested in joining the Committee must be proposed and seconded by a current Club Member, such proposals, together with the candidates’s agreement to stand, must reach the Hon Secretary not less than 28 days prior to the AGM.
Items for the Agenda should reach the Hon Secretary four weeks prior to 13 April, 2008.

Exhibitors please note that due to unforeseen circumstances, Mrs S. Bullock is unable to judge at our show on 5 April, 2008.
Mrs V. Kilby has kindly agreed to take her place and will therefore be judging the following classes - 282, 283, 289, 290, 291, 292, 293, 296, 306, 312, 348, 349, 350, 351, 370 and 376. Mrs B. Shingleton will be judging class 218. Mrs J. Green, classes 288, 311, 340 and 375. Mrs G. Denny, classes 417, 418 and 419 and Mrs M. Kalal, classes 511, 515 and 516.
There is one other change in that Mr M. Pearman will be judging Class 23 in lieu of Mrs J. Ashman.

Class 227 was incorrectly allocated to Mrs L. Stevenson. This class will be judged by Mrs C. Wren.
Unfortunately Mrs C. Dugdale is unable to judge Imperial Classes AC Persian Gr Ch Adult Male and Female, these will now be judged by Mrs S. Tokens.

On behalf of the Colourpoint BAC, the Colourpoint, Rex-coated & AOV Club is hosting a Seminar on Sunday, 21 September at The Ball Room, Cannock Civic Centre.
The theme is Colourpointed Cats, and as well as the Rex Cat Club, we are hoping for representatives from a number of breeds.

Foreign BAC
A Seminar for breeds in the Foreign Section is to be held on Sunday, 4 May, 2008, at Mappleborough Green Village Hall, Birmingham Road, Mappleborough Green, Studley, Warks B80 7BT.
The afternoon will commence with lunch at 12 noon, and the breeds to be featured are: Abyssinian, Korat, Ocicat, Russing Blue, Singapura and Snowshoe. Although a Rex Seminar is to be held later this year, we also hope to have examples of some of the Rex and Sphynx breeds present.
I am sure the day will prove interesting and informative for Full Judges Candidates on the schemes, owners and b reeders, and I look forward to seeing everyone on the day.
The entry fee, which includes lunch, will cost £8.50, and cheques/postal orders should be made payable to the “Other Foreign Group” and sent to me at 37 Alfred Road, Birchington-on-Sea, Kent CT7 9NJ. Please include an SAE if you require a map and directions and/or receipt of payment.
