LAST year I wrote frequently about the progress of Eileen Peachey’s Golden Persian boy, Pr Cashel Headboy, and his race towards his title.

I had the pleasure of finally meeting him at the London Cat Club Show. He really lives up to the sobriquet of “the cat with attitude”.

It was quite a majestic stroll out of his pen to greet me - the audience was short! Be admired is so tiresome!!

Alongside Alfie were Kate Meadows’ two boys who had also had a good day. Although I had conducted conversations on the phone with both of them, this was the first meeting “in the fur”. I did enjoy the cuddles with “Boo” and “Carter”. “Boo” is Confeticat Caboodle, a Red Colourpoint Persian, and “Carter” is Pr Cushka Caractacuss, a Blue Colourpoint Persian. My personal name for him is “Welsh Warrior”.

It was lovely to finally meet “the boys”. I feel I know them as well as my own cats.

There were other favourites of mine at the London, and they all had Red Card Days, and I got lots of furry cuddles. There was Gr Ch Kassaro Ferrguss, who was in the Imperial Class and Grand and took BOB. Next pen to him was his half brother, Kassaro Orrigon, who got a First and a CC. Two beautiful leonine boys. Fergus is owned by Gavin and Inna Snodgrass, and Orrigon by Mesdames Scott and Wright.

Also present was Gr Ch & Pr Chuasiri Salim, owned by Phil and Jo Wardale.

Roy and linda Dowley had UK Gr Ch Fortis Summer Storm, their bicoloured British in the Imperial Class. Usually I write about their girls successes, especially Fortis Ocean Pearl and Fortis Libertybelle.
