Report From The
MEETING OF COUNCIL
Held 26 October 2005
Details available from Club Delegates

AMENDMENTS TO GCCF RULES
The following amendments were agreed with effect from 26 October 2005:

Section 1, Rule 11h
“A prefix cannot be added to an existing registration. Prefixes only, not suffixes, will be granted (suffixes already granted by Council are not affected by this rule).”

Section 2, Rule 1
“Applications to hold a competitive show at which registered cats and/or kittens are in competition or on exhibition must be made to the GCCF office. A licence to hold a show may be issued subject to the absolute discretion of the GCCF.

Application to hold shows must be made on the official form. Licence applications for Sanction shows will not be considered until the Club has been granted 3 Exemption show licences. Licence applications for Championship shows will not be considered until the Club has been granted 3 Sanction show licences. At least 2 of these shows must have been held before an application for a Sanction or Championship show respectively can be considered by the Executive Committee”.

Section 4, Rule 8

“Every exhibit must be identified on the entry form exactly as recorded on the registration or transfer certificate relating to it with the following exceptions: any GCCF title achieved by that exhibit (see Section 4, Rule 4i) must be claimed and will then form part of that exhibit’s name. If the sire and/or dam of the exhibit has achieved and claimed a GCCF title since the registration of the exhibit, this may also be included on the entry form. NB: non-GCCF titles may not be included before the name of the exhibit, or of its sire and dam, but may be placed in brackets after the name.

Note: Errors in these details (except minor errors) will disqualify the entry, with forfeiture of all entry and penning fees. Show Managements, however, are permitted to accept corrections, at their own discretion, up to the close of the show. Any such correction must not be an addition or substitution of any exhibit for which proof of entry cannot be validated, or a change of exhibitor/owner. Any such corrections must be incorporated in the marked catalogues sent to the GCCF, but need not be incorporated in any other catalogues. (see Section 2, Rule 8f)”.
