BRISTOL University Veterinary School is to benefit from two new appointments that are supported by the Feline Advisory Bureau (FAB), a charity dedicated to the health and welfare of cats. Angie Hibbert joins as FAB Resident and Andrew Harvey as the new FAB Clinical Assistant in Feline Medicine. Both graduated from Bristol in 2000.
Since her graduation, Angie Hibbert has worked in small animal practice, including nine months as a locum to fund her travels around Australasia. In her most recent post, in a large Bristol practice, Angie has particularly enjoyed working up and managing geriatric feline medical cases.

Andrea Harvey spent a year and a half in small animal practice before returning to Bristol University to undertake a three-year residency in feline medicine, funded by FAB. Having completed her successful term as resident, she was appointed FAB Clinical Assistant in Feline Medicine at Bristol Veterinary School earlier this month.
Andrea gained the RCVS Certificate in Small Animal Medicine in 2003. She passed the first part of the European Diploma in Veterinary Internal Medicine in 2004 and will be sitting the final part of the examination this summer.

She is also intending to sit the examination for the RCVS Diploma in Feline Medicine this summer.
“With the help of FAB support, the Bristol Feline Centre continues to develop much needed expertise in the field of feline medicine”, says FAB chief executive Claire Bessant.
FAB is a charity dedicated to promoting the health and welfare of cats through improved feline knowledge, to help us all care better for our cats.
