There has been a small error in the Schedule for our forthcoming show on 7 January 2006 at Telford International Centre.
Please note that the Tom Higgins Memorial Classes (Classes 418 & 419) are, in fact, open to all breeds and NOT just for British Cats. There is a substantial cash prize offered along with a very nice trophy, so do consider entering. The schedule on the website at www.shcat.com is already corrected.

Guild of GCCF Judges
A final reminder that the Seminar on Blue Cats is taking place at the Oliver Bird Hall, Solihull, West Midlands on Sunday, 30 August. It should be an enjoyable and informative afternoon for all those interested, whether judges, stewards, owners or breeders. The plan for the afternoon is as follows:
Blue Mews - Planned Programme
12.30pm: Vetting-in of Exhibits - Owners must bring their Declaration Form which has been sent to them in advance; Current Vaccination Certificate; Food; Water; Litter and Litter Tray, etc. for their cat(s). Please note that the 13 day rule applies. Penning will be provided by Bella Penning.
1pm Lunch - Lunch is provided free to those bringing cats. For others accompanying owners and those coming to attend the Seminar, the cost is £5. Please let me know in advance if you require lunch and for how many people. Payment can be made on the day.
2pm Presentation of Breeds - A number of clubs/owners have promised to bring along their blue cats giving participants the opportunity to find out more about the different breeds, their priorities, their Standard of Points etc.
2.45pm Tea - This will also be an opportunity for those interested to talk to the cats’ owners/ breeders, perhaps to handle the cats and find out more information on the various blue cats at first hand.
3.15pm Who Wants To Be A Blue Boffin? - A light-hearted general knowledge quiz on the lines of “Who Wants to be a Millionaire”. How much do YOU know about cats and the Cat Fancy?
3.45pm Results of Quizz, Draw Raffle; Dismantle Penning etc.
