DOROTHY Hughes has thought of lots of good reasons for putting the date of the Cheshire Area Cat Club’s 43rd All Breeds Championship Show in your diary this year!

“The show is conveniently situated at the Epic Centre, Ellesmere Port, close to the motorway, and just six miles from the historic town of Chester. For the serious shopper there are great bargains to be had at the nearby Cheshire Oaks Retail Park. On the other hand, if you want a few hours of tranquility, then why not see the Blue Planet Aquarium?

If all of the above sounds too energetic, you could always pack your swimming costume and have a dip in the Epic Centre’s pool. Breakfast at the cafeteria is served from 8.30am, or food is available at nearby Asda.

On arrival at the venue, cars may be parked at the car park opposite the traffic lights, or for £1.50 all day parking is available at the library. Please note that, unless you hold a disabled drivers’ badge, you may not park outside the Epic Centre itself.
