The Colourpoint, Rex-coated & AOV Cat Club
The Colourpoint, Rex-Coated & AOV Cat Club is holding a Seminar for Sphynx Cats on Sunday, 25 September 2005. The venue is Wythall Village Hall, near junction 3 of the M42.
The Seminar is between 12 noon and 4pm. Tickets, including lunch, costs £4 per head.

Trans-Penning Oriental & Siamese Cat Club

Would exhibitors at last year’s Trans-Pennine Oriental & Siamese CC Show who won a trophy or a cup, please return them to this year’s show on 10 December 2005, after grooming them with TLC!

Arrangements can be made to have them collected at the Yorkshire CC show, or at the Supreme show at the NEC.

Russian Blue Breeders Association

The Russian Blue Breeders Association Show is being held at a different venue than in previous years. The new venue is The Guildhall, Abbey Close, Abingdon, Oxfordshire OX14 3JG.
Please could the recipients of trophies from last year’s show return them, either to the show at the above address on the day, or to me, the Hon Cup Secretary (show), Mrs S. Williams-Elliss, Tail End, Station Road, Sturton-le-Steeple, Retford, Notts DN22 9HS.

Bedford & District Cat Club

A decision has been made by the Club that it will no longer award trophies. Please would anyone who donated a trophy to the Club kindly contact me, Linda Ward (01908 679031), email lindaward.ppl@btinternet.com by the end of November. We shall then be able to return your donated trophy at a later date.

The Bedford Show will be on 29 April in 2006 and schedules will be available at the end of January. A schedule will be sent to Members who entered the show last year. Should you require a schedule, please send your SAE in good time to Mr A. Ward, 12 Fairford Crescent, Downhead Park, Milton Keynes MK15 9AG.

South Western Counties Cat Club
Unfortunately, Mr Furber is not able to judge at our Show on 24 September.
His Open Classes will now be judged as follows: Classes 417, 422 and 449 - Mrs J. Francis Wilson; Class 470 - Mrs B. Pearce; Classes 476, 494 and 495 - Mrs J. Jones.
Will anyone who may need a countersignature be sure to inform the Show Managers before judging commences.

British Shorthair Group Committee
The BAC will be holding a Seminar on Sunday, 2 October 2005 at the Oliver Bird Hall, Solihull. The afternoon seminar session (2pm to 5pm) is open to all BSH Judges, Judges from other lists who are interested in BSHs and any interested breeders.

Cost of attendance is £7 and should be sent to me at Highridge, Parsonage Hill, Somerton, Somerset TA11 7PF, as soon as possible, to allow for suitable arrangements to be made. (Cheques made payable to BSGC please).

Guild of GCCF Judges & Stewards
The AGM of the Guild of GCCF Judges & Stewards will take place on Sunday, 30 October, at The Oliver Bird Hall, Solihull.

The AGM will start at 11.30am, followed by an excellent buffet lunch. In the afternoon there will be a Seminar on Blue Cats of all breeds, to be called BLUE MEWS. It is intended that this should be both informative and light-hearted.

Agendas will be sent to all paid-up Members during the week commencing 26 September, but this is advance notice that one of the items on the agenda will be a discussion on the judging standard for Imperial Grand Classes.

Committee elections will be held. There are four vacancies - Mrs C. Jones, Mrs H. Marriott-Power and Mrs J. Worth are due to retire, and are eligible for re-election. All nominations shall be in writing and must be proposed and seconded by Members of the Guild and be agreed by the nominee. They must be received by the Hon Secretary prior to the AGM. Candidates must be paid-up Members of the Guild.

For any Judges or Stewards who have not yet joined the Guild, it is not too late, and membership application together with subscription of £5 should be forwarded to the Hon Secretary, Mrs S. Bullock, Abymese, 18 Barley Orchard, Gnosall, Stafford ST20 0QT. You will all be very welcome.
